My name is Ifeoluwa Emmanuel Oyejide. I am the Founder and CEO of Neul Lights and Films, and also the Creative Director of Neul Films Production.
The Psalmist:
Tell us about your business and why you started it.
Ifeoluwa Emmanuel Oyejide:
Neul Lights and Films is a creative event production company. We specialise in stage lighting, LED screens, event production, and filmmaking. Our mission is to use our tools to inspire people, beautify events, and create lasting memories for our clients.
What makes us different is our commitment to excellence. Before starting the company, I had the privilege of serving under someone in the industry, and one of the major gaps I noticed was the lack of attention to detail. Many people did only what the client could see, but excellence goes beyond that.
When I decided to start Neul Lights and Films, I made a personal commitment that whether we were supervised or not, we would always deliver excellence. We wanted every production to reflect quality and intentionality.
Today, we serve Churches, event centres, corporate organisations, weddings, and many other clients. Rather than repeating the same approach for every project, we take time to understand each client’s vision. Our goal is not simply to showcase our expertise but to translate the client’s vision into an unforgettable experience that exceeds expectations.

How has faith influenced your journey in business?
Ifeoluwa Emmanuel Oyejide:
The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. From my experience as an entrepreneur, I’ve realised that if you don’t settle the spiritual aspect of your life, business becomes much more difficult.
Every client is different. Sometimes, what seems like the perfect solution to you isn’t necessarily what the client wants. Over time, I learned to depend on the Holy Spirit for insight.
There have been occasions when our team planned an event and professionally I felt a particular piece of equipment wasn’t necessary. Yet I sensed a prompting in my spirit to include it. After the event, the client specifically mentioned that same detail as one of the things they appreciated most.
Experiences like that taught me to become more sensitive to God’s leading. We intentionally seek fresh ideas before every project because every assignment is unique. We listen to the Holy Spirit, and many times our clients respond by saying, “This is exceptional.” Business is more than technical competence. It is about discerning what is needed at a particular moment and trusting God to help you deliver something that truly serves the client.

Tell us about the challenges you’ve faced in business and how you’ve overcome them.
Ifeoluwa Emmanuel Oyejide:
Challenges are part of every entrepreneurial journey. When we started, we didn’t have access to the wealth of information that is available today. We relied on a few books and limited resources, especially in the entertainment and event production industry.
I remember one particular experience that became a turning point for us. We were invited to install a newly imported lighting console from China in an event centre. Several companies had attempted the installation before us, but none of them could get it to work.
When I was asked if I could solve the problem, I simply said yes. At Neul Lights and Films, our mission is to solve problems. At that point, there were no online tutorials or resources to guide me. Humanly speaking, there was no obvious solution.
During that period, I was reading Acts chapter 9, where Saul encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus. As I reflected on that passage, one detail stood out to me in a way I had never seen before, the beam of light from heaven. I sensed the Holy Spirit impressing something on my heart: light creates an atmosphere for divine encounters.
That revelation completely changed my perspective. I stopped seeing lighting as merely illuminating a venue. I began to see it as something with spiritual significance, something that can create an atmosphere where people become more receptive to God’s presence.
With that renewed understanding, I returned to the project. I carefully studied the equipment, read the manual repeatedly, explored every setting, and by God’s grace I eventually solved the problem. The console came alive, the lighting system functioned perfectly, and the client was amazed.
Looking back, I realise it wasn’t simply about fixing equipment. The challenge pushed me deeper into God’s Word, opened my eyes to fresh revelation, and expanded my understanding of what our work truly represents.
That experience elevated our company to another level. It reminded me that every difficult situation carries the potential for growth if we’re willing to trust God for wisdom beyond our natural ability.

What advice will you give to young Christian entrepreneurs?
Ifeoluwa Emmanuel Oyejide:
My advice is simple: don’t try to skip the process.
Everything worthwhile takes time. God is a miracle-working God, and He hears our prayers, but He also works through process. Growth takes time, and lasting success is built over time.
I often think about Adam and Jesus. Adam failed in his assignment, but Jesus, the Second Adam came and fulfilled His purpose by embracing the process. He grew, learned, and matured before stepping fully into His ministry. That teaches us that process is part of God’s design.
I also believe that service is one of the greatest classrooms for any entrepreneur. Before starting your own business, be willing to serve someone who is already doing what you admire. Volunteer if necessary. Learn their systems. Observe how they solve problems. Ask questions.
The knowledge you gain through serving can save you years of mistakes.
Many people want immediate success, but faithfulness comes before ownership. Scripture asks, “Who will entrust you with your own if you have not been faithful with another person’s?”
Trust God, avoid shortcuts, and don’t manipulate situations. Build patiently. When God establishes you through process, He also gives you the capacity to sustain the success He brings.

What are your future goals for Neul Lights and Films?
Ifeoluwa Emmanuel Oyejide:
Our vision is to become a globally recognised creative production company known for excellence.
We’re investing heavily in advanced technologies that will keep us ahead of industry standards and enable us to deliver even more exceptional experiences for our clients.
Another major part of our vision is education. We’re already developing an academy where we can train the next generation of creative professionals, people who understand that excellence is not optional but a culture.
Beyond providing stage lighting, LED screens, live event production, and filmmaking, we’ve also developed our own product line. Our goal isn’t simply to sell equipment; it is to help our clients make informed decisions. We educate them on the right products for their needs because we believe knowledge is just as valuable as the equipment itself.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working on major productions for gospel ministers such as Moses Bliss, Ebuka Songs, Steve Crown, Kaestrings, and many others.
One of our greatest strength is that we understand production as a complete ecosystem. Great lighting alone is not enough if it affects camera performance. Exceptional visuals must complement sound, video, staging, and every other element of the production.
By approaching every project from a holistic perspective, we’ve been able to consistently deliver productions that meet the highest standards.
As we continue to embrace new technologies and raise more excellence-driven professionals, we believe our best days are still ahead.
